Your anticipation builds as you board the boat and head out to the shark grounds, and you'll be eagerly scanning the sea in search of movement. Then you see it - a shark fin! Several of them in fact! You'll be astounded as you watch these majestic creatures go about their day.
Get right in the water (in a cage, of course!)
Then the moment you've been waiting for arrives - you can actually get in the water and stare down these awesome creatures (you can also just stay on the boat, if you wish.) A high-tech shark cage protects you, and gets you as close to a shark as possible. The feeling of being in the cage and under the water is indescribable, and will stay with you forever. And if you wish, you can just view them from the boat, too (but where is the fun in that?)
Among the sharks that you may encounter include Galapagos sharks, grey reef sharks, hammerheads and on rare occasion the majestic tiger shark. You may also see some dolphins and sea turtles, and in the winter, don't be surprised if you see a whale as well.
No diving experience is required (no diving is involved - the cage stays at the surface.) All you need is a swimsuit and some courage. It's perfectly safe, too - nobody has been eaten yet!
