Royal Lahaina Luau - Myths of Maui
Spend an unforgettable evening beside the ocean at the Myths of Maui Luau at Royal Lahaina Resort. Set along beautiful Ka’anapali Beach, this traditional Maui luau combines sunset views, island cuisine, tropical drinks and exciting Polynesian entertainment in one memorable experience.
The evening begins with a warm shell lei greeting and time to enjoy a tropical cocktail while taking in the oceanfront scenery. Guests are then invited to watch the traditional imu ceremony, when the kalua pig is uncovered from the underground oven where it has been slowly roasted.
Dinner features an all-you-care-to-eat buffet with kalua pork, island chicken, fresh fish and a variety of Hawaiian favorites. A tofu vegetable stir-fry is available for vegetarian guests with advance notice, and a special kid-friendly menu makes the experience enjoyable for younger guests as well.
After dinner, the stage comes alive with music and dances from Hawaii, Tahiti, Samoa and Aotearoa. Graceful hula, colorful costumes and rhythmic Polynesian performances lead into the evening’s exciting finale, a thrilling Samoan fire-knife dance.
