Kohala Zipline - Kohala Zip & Dip Adventure
Get ready for an unforgettable full-day adventure combining thrilling ziplines, scenic views, and a refreshing waterfall swim. Your journey begins with a picturesque drive from the sun-drenched resorts on the Big Island’s west side to the lush, tropical landscapes of the island’s northern tip.
The first stop is the Kohala Zipline Station, tucked away in a vibrant jungle setting. Here, you’ll embark on an 8-line zipline tour featuring soaring platforms nestled high in towering trees, suspension bridges arching over ancient taro terraces and streams, and an exhilarating tree rappel to cap off your course.
After your adrenaline-pumping zipline experience, head to Pololu Valley Lookout - known as the "end of the road" - for a scenic picnic-style deli lunch with panoramic views of the rugged valley cliffs and black sand beach below.
Your day continues deeper into the Kohala Mountains, where you'll take a guided nature hike along a private trail. Cross an aqueduct bridge, pass through lava rock tunnels, and explore hidden waterfalls tucked into the rainforest. Along the way, discover the rich history of ancient Hawaiian life and end with a refreshing swim beneath a tropical waterfall, the perfect finale to your island adventure.
