WAIPIO VALLEY MORNING RIDEHorseback ride in a lush tropical
paradise with jungle trails, taro patches, magnificent waterfalls and
historical and spiritual sites. This two-hour guided ride will take you
deep into Waipio Valley, a wonderland of natural Hawaiian beauty. You'll
enjoy responsive, well-trained, healthy horses, and your individual
riding ability will be catered to.
Waipio Valley is located
about 72 miles from Kona, approximately a two-hour drive. The valley is
one of the most beautiful spots on the Big Island and well worth the
trip.

WAIPIO VALLEY AFTERNOON RIDE
Jungle trails, taro patches,
magnificent waterfalls and historical Hawaiian sites mark this
extraordinary two-hour guided ride. You'll head deep into Waipio Valley,
where natural beauty still reigns supreme. This is the kind of scenery
Hawaii is famous for, the reason why most people come! The stable's
horses are responsive, well-behaved, and healthy, and we'll take your
level of riding ability into account.

- Morning Ride: Check in at 9:00 am. Ride time 9:30 am to 12:00 pm
Afternoon Ride: Check in at 12:30 pm. Ride time 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm

From the check-in location, participants are transported in a 4-wheel drive van to the stable area in the valley.
Directions:
From Honokaa take Hwy 240 to Waipio Lookout. Turn right just before lookout and proceed down hill to Waipio Valley Artworks on left. Drive time is about 2 hours from Kona and about 1.5 hours from Kohala resorts or Hilo.
