Best Hawaiian Lei Greeting at Kona Airport

Reserve a Kona Airport Lei Greeting on the Big Island, Hawaii

Cigar leis & Deluxe Tuberose leis require at least 4 days notice for Big Island.

Show your love and appreciation to someone special with a traditional Big Island airport lei greeting at Kona International Airport. A fresh flower lei is a memorable way to welcome family, friends, honeymooners or first-time visitors as they begin their Hawaii vacation. A friendly lei greeter will meet arriving guests with their selected lei and a warm aloha, creating a personal welcome before they continue to baggage claim, transportation or their next connection.

Big Island airport lei greetings are popular for honeymoons, anniversaries, birthdays, family reunions, retirement celebrations and surprise arrivals. They are also a wonderful choice for travelers who simply want to begin their own vacation with a special Hawaiian welcome. You can also compare Big Island airport lei greetings for arrivals at Kona International Airport.

We only use the best flowers available – dendrobium orchids, carnations, plumerias, tuberose or superior combinations of these flowers.  The type of flower used on any lei is subject to season and availability.

If ordering within 2 days of arrival there is a $15 charge per party (not per person). Only "Standard" Leis are available when ordering within 2 days of arrival.

*Please Note: if this is a surprise greeting, you MUST inform the lei greeter recipient to look for a sign with their name on it. There will be no refund for missed greetings due to uninformed recipients!

Lei giving has deep roots in Hawaiian and Polynesian culture. Over generations, lei have been made from flowers, leaves, shells, seeds, nuts, feathers and other natural materials, and they have been used to mark important occasions, express affection and welcome honored guests. Today, presenting a lei remains one of Hawaii’s most recognizable expressions of aloha.

During Hawaii’s historic “Boat Days,” lei vendors welcomed arriving and departing passengers near Honolulu Harbor. The tradition of greeting visitors with lei eventually became closely associated with airport arrivals as air travel replaced passenger ships. A Kona airport lei greeting continues that spirit of welcome by giving visitors a memorable first moment on the Big Island.
